You need to discuss this with your endocrinologist. With a condition such as yours it would be downright dangerous to take any advice from anyone on the internet. As I am sure you know you could suffer from some severe reactions (one that comes to mind is Thyroid Storm).

Please consult your endo.

Hi Mari; A good question and one which deserves 2 statements: 1) Is Glutathione itself safe to take? A clear answer to that is not yet in; it's debatable. 2) If an individual takes Glutathione while on thyroid replacement therapy (T3/T4) there is no data to support interactions of any type. To further clarify your present status; hypothyroidism based on elevated TSH levels without prior sugery for hyperthyroidism or ablative therapy for hyperthyroism is not a candidate for a "thyroid storm." A "thyroid storm" will show it's face in those diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis who's acute state is treated with anti thyroid drugs and yes a storm can be very serious. Good luck and please go over the literature for Glutathione.
