I'm 15, and am 126 pounds, but I have really big thighs and kind of a lumpy stomach. I'm not tall, and I'm thin everywhere else. But how can I get thin thighs and a flat stomach? Also, how can I keep my mind off food? When I'm bored I eat, and most of the time I eat fruit. But sometimes, I eat chips and chocolate for a snack. How can I stop this? And if I'm like this now, will I thin out when I grow a bit more? Or will I stay short, and just grow widthwise?

126 pounds is pretty thin for pretty much any height If you feel uncomfortable with your body I would recommend starting to do some cardio exercise. You should see things shift within a few weeks.

Food wise - you say you eat when your bored so find something else to occupy for mind and hands. I started knitting because I found at night I would mindlessly munch while watching TV. Now I knit instead and with my hand and mind otherwise engaged I don't think about food.

You also might be thinking about it so much because you are trying too hard to not think about food. Just let the thoughts come and go. Before you pick up a snack stop and ask yourself "am I really hungry or am I bored?" If the answer is bored then walk out of the kitchen.

Most of all be good to yourself. Don't beat yourself up over how you look. The truth is most people have a warped perception of how they look. Try not to focus on what you don't like and focus on the things that you do like. Soon enough those "problem areas" seem to disappear.

I'm sure you're a beautiful girl:)
If you run then your entire body will trim down, but mostly in your stomach & thighs.. Good Luck

Running is also great psycotherapy there was an article out in the news today about it. Just confirming what runners have know for ages :)

But really it will make you feel like a million bucks. Nothing like pushing yourself on a run and finding that today you shaved time off a mile - so exciting! Good suggestion Sweety!

Thanks. Oh, another thing you should know, when you exercise it's been known that you feel 1000 times better about yourself because you are doing something for you. You feel the sweat and you feel the burn and you just know you're improving yourself. Eventually, you will see yourself as strong, confident & beuatiful.:)
