Hey this is my first violation of probation ever being on probation. On July 12th I was arrested on a warrant for this violation and was sentenced to pay a purge. My girlfriend paid the purge and I was still locked up. I just got out on July 26th,which I'm happy about. Nothing like being free. But my question is what will happen to me when I go to court for my violation of probation hearing? Plus when I seen the judge when I was locked up, my probation officer never processed anything that I did. Meaning she never took a copy of my community service hours or a letter that a drug evaulation counselor wrote to the judge and sumitted it to the judge . Pretty much I'm asking how long am I looking at if I get convicted of that violation? Would it be helpful if I showed the judge that I did some of my community service and was getting treament for my problem in deciding my sentence, please help I got three weeks until that hearing

Hello gotcha:

Yes, you need to show the judge everything you can. It would be better if you hired an attorney to do it for you.

It sounds like you already had the hearing. Otherwise, how were you ordered to pay the purge and serve the time that you did? But yes, if you need to make any further court appearances, show the judge as much documentation in your favor as you can. Also, as excon suggested, getting a lawyer isn't a bad idea either.
