I've noticed a LOT of people trying to find song lyrics on here and I decided to share my knowledge:p If you go to Google and type in the lyrics that you can recall and type lyrics at the end your song will pop up if it is popular and well known.
Ex/directions: [I'm not crazy I'm just a little impaired lyrics]
*click Search button*
*click link that says Matchbox20*

Thank you for sharing! There are various ways to go about finding lyrics to songs on Google.
I agree with you. I just wanted to share how I do it. In Google, I first type in the word lyrics, and then a portion of the lyrics that someone has provided. They may have misspelled something, used words that aren't in the lyrics, lumped words together with no spaces, or put things out of order, etc. I try to figure that out. Then I go with what I have figured out for the search. Hopefully, as we educate others, they will be able to do this for themselves.

This search gave me a number of sites --- pick one --- narrow search
lyrics - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=lyrics&btnG=Google+Search)
I highlight the searched text, and copy it -- So I can paste and edit --

nauticalstar420 agrees: I'm surprised people don't do it for themselves. It is much faster to just Google! :)
Dear nauticalstar420,
You are so correct. I am surprised also. But, I can remember a time almost ten years ago, when I had no clue as to what copying and pasting was, let alone how to do it. Also, how to do other basic skills on the computer. It is all a learning, teaching, and sharing experience for us.

If you know the exact words, then putting the lyrics in quotation marks followed by lyrics will work even better.
For example
["I want you to be the one" lyrics]

It can also be lyrics that are slightly off... the beauty of Google is that they will correct the lyrics:)
