Hi, my daughter, who is 8 1/2 months pregnant, has decided to marry the father of the child before the child is born. They have both decided they will do this at the Courthouse... tomorrow. This of course is not what I ever thought my only daughter's wedding would be like, but they promised that a "real" wedding will take place in approximately a year. My question is, since this is really, really short notice, what should I plan for after their ceremony tomorrow? I suggested going to dinner along with her fiance's parents, and that was well accepted. What else should I do? Should I get a gift?

First of all... TAKE A DEEP BREATH
LOL
Go to dinner, talk about a vow renewal in a year that will involve the baby as well. You can help plan that and it will be great (actually going through the same thing with my sister right now).
Do they need gifts? Money? Support?

A simple dinner after the ceremony works just fine. A gift works just fine too. The biggest thing is to relax and be happy for them. The rest will follow.

If they have another wedding/reception later, you can wait for gifts unless you just want to get something special for them tonight.
Just relax and have a fun dinner with them. :)
