Hi I got a Nokia N80 and it continuesly seems to have problems. A friend of mine told me that N80 are defective and someone I met some days ago and has the same phone, he couldn't turn it on! I experience problems like: when I pause a song and then play it again the equalizer gets lost and I have to set it again. Messages crashes lot of times, and it keeps rejecting my memory card. Does anyone else have the same problems?

Those problems are created by an old friend called a virus. Virus creators are now also targeting mobile devices, as long as you browser the internet without proper protection your device can be affected by this mobile viruses!

If the problem persists, take your phone to your operators and they might re-install the image. I would suggest that you download an anti-virus for your phone >> (http://www.f-secure.com/products/products_a-z.html)

Actually, I don't browse the web from my cell phone. But I know that there are some viruses that are expanding via bluetooth technology. I'll try to check my cell phone for any viruses and I'll come back with more info!

Your phone might be defective. Who is your cell phone service through? You should be covered by warranty if you've had it less than a year.

Actually I live in Greece and yes, my phone is over 1 year (it has it's "birthday" in 2 days)and I got a warranty. I returned it once before and they reinstalled the symbian OS. But still the same... I guess I'll have to check it again! I'll return it to the store from where I got it. Thanks
