:( My daughter and I signed a seven months lease today.After we signed the lease we were allowed to move are stuff in.As we going up the stairs to the apt. we noticed a bunch of guys coming through a cut in the fence and they were making drug deals right in front of us!! This was not occurring when we were looking at the apt.And it was not occurring when we signed the lease.Needless to say we are scared to death to move in.It only started happening after we signed the lease.We immediately went and talked to leasing agent and asked for an apt. in another area.She got an attitude and said she would look into in the morning but she didn't think there were any available.What I want to know is do we have to honor this lease still?Will we be liable for the seven months rent?We also haven't moved all are stuff in yet because we still have a week left on the place we are living now.We are so upset and we truly don't know what we are going to do.Please help! : :(

Of course, you signed a legal agreement, The general area should be a good idea what it will be like. If you see drug deals call the police.
