Hi guys, I really need your help. Me and my husband are currently trying to conceive a child. I was pregnant last year, but had a miscarriage. Ever since my miscarriage, I have been on yasmin to regulate back my cycle. I have decided to stop using yasmin about 3 months ago and try to get pregnant again. My periods have been coming pretty regular since I stopped taking yasmin. Me and my husband starting having unprotected sex in June, it is now July and my period has not come yet. I was expecting my period in the second week of this month.I have taken pregnancy tests 4 times already and they have all come out negative. I am now seeing that maybe I should be taking these test in the morning, so I will try that. I am just getting frustrated that all these tests are coming out negative. Lately I have been feeling a little queasy, so I feel like maybe I am pregnant. When I was pregnant last yr, I had no idea I was pregnant until the doctor did a routine check-up on me. I am thinking about going to my gyn to get a blood test done, but I'm wondering if I should wait until the month is over. Please help.

It is entirely possible that you are pregnant, but as you just came off birth control, it is also possible that it is just irregularity. Many women experience this after coming off hormonal BC. Most couples take up to a year to conceive, and coming off birth control can lengthen that time. I always suggest using first morning uring when doing HPTs. I would suggest that if you feel pregnant, and are getting negative test results at home, go to your doctor and request a blood test. No one knows your body as well as you.

You I was thinking maybe its because I just came off because too, but last year I got pregnant a month after I stopped taking birth control, I was on ortho-tricyclen lo at the time. I guess its different this time around. Thanks for replying
