Hello to all at the :Ask me Help Desk". I'm so very glad I found this web site. I live alone and I'm trying to connect all the components of my soon to be entrainment center. I have an RCA TV, an RCA DVD/AM-FM stereo surround sound player and speakers device, a Panasonic VCR and a Direct TV satellite box. All are in boxes and I need to start from the beginning. The instructions to integrate all these devices might as well been greek to me. Is there anybody that can and will put the instructions in laymans terms so I can understand it? If there's anybody out there who can, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME.
T:confused:  THANK YOU TO ALL,. VILLANE :o :(

Have the VCR and Satellite go into your Surround Receiver, From Receiver to TV.
Your Quality will mostly be determined by Inputs and Outputs, HDMI, DVI, Component, etc.
Plus your Sat and TV may have HDMI, and where the receiver won't. You would bypass the receiver to get better Quality Video.
