Why does the pool water turn cloudy and how do you turn it back blue. Does the water suppose to be warm

Have you back-washed the filter? Has it been a long time since you've replaced the sand in it?

I talked to someone who knows pools better than I do. If your chlorine/ph levels are good and it is still cloudy, back-wash the filter; perhaps even twice a day if you can for the next several days. If it's still cloudy, then you may look into replacing the sand or the cleaning solvent in your pool, depending upon what type you have. Let me know if this works.
