Turn off oil light on pontiac grand am

What you do is turn the key to the run position with out the engine running and press the gas pedal 3 times with in 5 seconds all the way to the floor

Remove the fuse panel cover on the driver's side of the dash. There is a reset switch there. Turn the key to the on position,press the reset button, the change oil light will flash then press the reset button again and hold until you hear a chime and done.
