I just purchased a 13,500 BTU ac for my apt. it's it the living room. However it doesn't seem to be cooling anything. It actually feels more humid than anythig. I have read the manual several times and called customer service (but they were gone for the day) so if anyone can help me with this situation it would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!

They usually have a fresh air setting or switch, close this because it brings in out side air which may be humid in your area. This is assuming the A/C is working properly.
