We have changed the fuel filter, the air filter, and the spark plug on our riding mower, but it will not fire off. After I changed the air filter ,it ran for 1 hour, and hasn't started since. We checked the fuse,it was good. What should we try next? The engine will turn over, but it will not start.Any help will be appreciated.

Could Be An Armature Magneto (coil) Problem: Remove Black Kill Wire From Coil And See If It Fires, To Do This You Will Have To Remove The Top Cover(blower Housing) From The Engine, See If It Fires, If So You Have A Bad Kill Wire. If Not , It May Be The Coil Itself, Have You Tried To Restart The Engine After It Has Cooled For Several Hours? If It Starts, Then Your Coil Is Getting "hot" And Breaking Down, Remedy , Replace Coil.
If This All Checks Out, Go To The Safety Switches.
