Ok so I have 3 questions.
I get stomch aches in the mornin when I'm on my period and for the last few nights I've been having cramps and yesterday I woke up with a stomach ache so am I about to start or could menstrual side-effects happen anytime, because I am fixing to go to Lake winnie (amusement park) and I do not want to be miserable, what do you think??

Also my dads knee has a torn miniscus and a torn cartilage will it hurt him to walk around a lot at Lake Winnie ( we usually stay from 10am to round 5pm or 6pm)

Also he had bad kidney stones 2 years ago and he said he's getting that kind of feeling again so I was wondering if he kind of shook his "you-know-what" when he peed if it would help get smaller ones that were forming out of his system because I have heard of that as being some help before from someone.

Thank you if you help,
Concerned lake winnie lover

As far as going to Lake Winnie, just take some pain relievers and make sure you wear tampons in the water. You should be fine :)

My husband also has a torn meniscus and he cannot stand for very long. He is in the military and is waived from any kind of physical fitness because he cannot do it. It would be okay for your dad to go, just make sure he takes frequent sitting breaks and does not over do it.

As far as kidney stones, I have them too. (wow I can relate to you a lot here.. lol). Shaking it won't help them out, they are usually lodged in there way too tight. Tell your dad to drink a LOT of water because that will make him urinate. The more he urinates, the faster they will come out. When I feel like I am getting ready to pass a stone, I usually drink 3-4 bottles of water. This much water will put a lot of pressure behind the stone and push it out. :)

Torn meniscus! Ouch! No walking for him.

Kidney stones ouch! No shaking will help-water only.

Looks like you may need to go by yourself. Sorry.

Take pain relievers and use the restroom when needed at the park. If you get cramps take a rest and sit down. Have fun and wear something protective that won't make you uncomfortable.

Also, bring a friend along. Your dad shouldn't be walking on that.
