I recently purchased a new honda ridgeline which I really love. I plan on running synthetic oil but when should I switch ? I've heard that you should wait until the motor is fully broken in and I've also heard to just switch. Which is correct ?

Many expensive cars come with Mobil 1 as factory fill. Mobil recommends you drive your car from the showroom to the service bay and change it immediately. I've run full synthetic engine oil in my 1993 Civic since the very beginning. Emissions-wise, it tests as a new car.
