I have two showers. One has incredible water pressure and the other can't be used to wash your hair because you can't get the soap out. Pressure is merely a trickle. It is a new bathroom and I installed a new faucet with the "scald guard" handle. One handle controls heat the other pressure(or lack of it). Would replacing these with regular hot/cold handles solve the problem or is there another solution?

Check the shower head. Take it off, and see if something is clogging the hole.
