I'm seriously scared to look in mirrors in public. I'm 14, 5'6, and 150. I'm literally disgusted. I've tried everything, not eating for a certain amount of time.. diet pills.. working out 5 days a week. NOTHING WORKS. I want to weigh 110 before school. But it seems like its never going to happen. The most I've ever lost was 8 pounds, and I've gained it all back in like a week. I used to have no problem with my weight.. now I actually have like a roll of fat. Oh my god its digusting someone please help me.
Can someone please give me ideas that actually work to lose weight fast.

First off you have to have realistic goals. 110 pounds at your height is never going to happen and if it did it wouldn't be very good for you.
Plan to loose 1-2lb a week. This is a sensible amount which will not shock your body into clinging onto every last resource of fat it has for fear of a famine. Seriously if you faster than this you will end up putting it back on and then some. Not good.
So how to do this? Stop fasting- this will only slow your metabolism (see above), stop diet pills they are either irrelevant placebos or nasty drugs with serious cardiovascular side effects.
Right you don't need to go on a diet you need to have a lifestyle change. You need to focus on becoming healthy. Start drinking more water (8 glasses a day) stop drinking soda it's empty calories. Start eating more fruit and veg. Have apples when you feel peckish - they really fill you up. Drink water 20 minutes before you eat. Eat slowly so your body recognises you are full - stop when full. Take sips of water as you eat - enjoy your food, savour eat bite!
Right what to eat-
Wholegrain pasta and bread, brown rice
Lean meat and fish
Can't stress the veg enough
Try having porridge for breakfast - it fills you up and boosts your metabolism.
Stir frys are great for making quick easy dishes with lots of veg.
You should talk to your parent/guardian about healthy foods and how you want a change.
Exercise
Walking is really good for you, walk instead of taking the bus, use stairs never the lift. Take up a sport, try out martial arts - if you are doing something fun it won't seem like hard work. Swimming if the best for an all body exercise without stressing your joints.
You really have to think of this as a turning point not a diet. Diets are temporary and so are their effects. Slowly start implementing these things and you will notice an improvement.
Don't forget you can still have treats - just keep the portions small. Plan to eat well 80% of the time and the other 20% eat what you want. This will prevent you from entering binging cycles when you snap under the pressure.
Good Luck - I hope this helps

YOU ARE NOT FAT! I am 5' 4" and weigh 125 have gone through serious hell when it comes to my weight. For your height 150 is completely normal. Do not spend time worrying over it or you will become obsessed. I got to the point where I weighed 110 and was never so miserable in my life and now that I gained weight back I've never felt so fat even though I'm a good 20 pounds less than what I used to be before all my problems started. There is nothing more addictive than an eating disorder and you will learn to absolutely hate yourself. I found myself fasting for months and then going back to vomiting six times a day. I encourage you to not weigh yourself anymore and just eat healthy and if you are disciplined enough to exercise. At least stay active and play frisbee or something with your friends. You will be much happier this way and just remember you are beautiful and anyone who makes you think otherwise does not know what they are talking about. Worrying about weight is poisoness and will ruin your life. Just get out and have fun. I [promise you no one else thinks you are fat. Think about people you look at do you notice instantly how fat they are dwell on it? I doubt it. No one is doing that with you either. So be confident and proud of your body. Stop wasting all the time you could be having fun upseting yourself and worrying about your weight.
