Citibank will not do a payment plan if they are suing you, you didn't pay when you had the chance.

HAve you been served with a summons? If so, file Notice of intend to Defend, now they must follow proper procedure it not you have a chance.

Have they validicated the alleged debt? Have you dispute the alleged debt?

Debt Collection is all about procedure, which they must follow.

Now you need to provide more info, for a better answer that may help you.

In some jurisdictions, like in Ontario, Canada where we practice, you can file a defence proposing terms of payment. This is usually best done with a defence that addresses other aspects of the claim such as the high rate of interest which, despite conventional wisdom, can be challenged in court provided the appropriate statutes are relied on.

If the rules of the small claims court in your jurisdiction do not provide for such a defence to be filed then you can approach the creditor directly and negotiate some type of repayment plan and then file it with the court.
