Depends on the nature of the business as to what insurance company will give you the best rate or even if they will undertake the risks associated with your business. For example, if you are opening a fast food franchise, there are insurance companies who like that kind of risks, have good rates and have no problem writing such risks. But you may be hanging out your shingle to practice psychiatry and nomally in most areas of the US, there's only a handlful, if that many, of companies that write medical malpractice insurance. Give us some more info if you don't mind. Or visit or call insurance agents.
