Hi,
I am Rahul from Bangalore, India. 10 years back, I fell and lost half of my front tooth. I haven't feel any pain in that. Till now, I was not in the position to pay for that, But Now I want to repair and want it exactly to be as close to the natural as possible.
I am not worried about its cost. Please suggest me the available treatments and if one can point to any specialist in India. I will be very thankful
Thank you very much in advance for sharing the information

There are a number of options available depending on condition of your tooth. Post Crown is probably your best option (this is where the remainder of the tooth is removed and a post with a ceramic tooth is set into the root of the remainder of the tooth. If you have had little no pain for ten years then there could possibly be infection abscess above tooth. If this is not viable and the tooth is removed then a bridge or fusion root are your other options.

Thanks for your suggestio!
Is it necessary to remove the remaining tooth? This is almost 50% of the tooth. Actually I don't want it to removed.

You want to make sure the tooth isn't dead. It may need a root canal first. If half of the tooth is still above the gum a ceramic crown can be made to go over it. Try to avoid porcelain fused to metal if you can. You get much better aesthetics without the metal. If the tooth (including root) your best treatment would be an implant.

My front tooth is broken. I already have the root canal done. Dentist wants to have an implant done, but leaves the option for crown open. Iprefer the crown. What do you think?
