Hi,
I don't want to sound negative about this; but, if body lightening products really worked, don't you think Michael Jackson (the singer) would have bought the company??
Ever thought of seeing a doctor and getting his/her opinion??
Best wishes,
fredg

Thanks guys,

I hear what you guys are saying. I don't want the ''micheal jackson'' look I just want to be afew shades lighter like... Christina Milian's complexion. Surely they most be something that works.

Sharon1 -- I've heard about whiterskin since I'm a member of brightskin.com too I thought is was for the face only? I intend to try it for my face...

Anybody recommend something

Hi Lady C,

I am Frenchie and I actually using a body lotion called skin light. It contains hydroquinone but it works very well.

I am using this lotion and I enjoy it. I am very interested by taking pills but I don't know if I will be able to take pills 3 times a day (taking pills is something I hate).

Bye.

Hi Amisha,

I noticed a big difference since I used skin light. I use the lotion twice a day after showered. People noticed that my skin color lighten, I am pretty happy about the cream.

Hey Lady C,

I do not think that skin light is unless, maybe it's depends on skins. If you use it twice a day it will work.

Bye Ladies.

I’ve been searching and searching and searching!! I can’t seem to find anything.

Most of the effective products are very expensive and sold in very small-tiny containers. Definitely not enough for the whole body

I've tried all the body creams and nothing works. Now I just use AHA lotions and glycolic soap. Exfoliating works and avoiding sun.

Hi I think it is hard to use a cream on your body for the rest of your life couse melanine amount will not change for ever and when you stop using it your old skin will be back am I right??

I tried many many creams & lotions with out that big change
Now I try a yeast pill and I notice a deffrent in just 2 weeks
Don`t forget to scrub your skin weekly to remove the old one

Hi unis
I heard about godiva a lot
Did you try it ?

I am also heard about papaya!

unis
Sep 2, 2005, 04:11 AM
Godiva has been very kind to me that I get good results from it... but since I have been selling it, I know some of the experience of other and I have read some too and some claim not to have a good result from it that it does not give result as fast as it promise, well even say that they did not get result at all and they get allergic but so far for me I am having good results so I continue using it specially the lotion hehe...

And hey I the pills results isn't permanent too... you have to maintain it by taking a lower dose of l-gluathathione to maintain the color you have achieved. But yes it do work good when you get the right dosage and vitamin c with it...

When it comes to creams and lotions I think you will not get back to your dark skin if you maintain by using soap because whitening soap doesn't not tend to whiten you but just maintain your skin color unlike ordinary soap that let your skin darker, also by not exposing your skin to the sun as much as possible and getting the right amount of protection from sun block your skin won't turn back that much... since our body produces melanin that makes us darker if the skin went under stress to protect it that's why as you can see skin exposed to the sun is always the one darker and those hidden skin parts that tend to rub with each other :)

When you are trying to achieve whitening you have to take into consideration the following: (1) products do work if you have the patience & time for them. Not all products work but some do. (2) whitening the entire body, I think has to start from within because if you are depending only on soaps & lotions, there are spots you will likely miss out which can make your skin whiter but uneven toned. So, I guess the best option here would be to use lighteners simultaneously. Use a whitening soap, lotion, vitamins, etc. I just came across PH 338. Says that a lot of actresses has beed using it since 1999. Anybody here tried them?

unis
Sep 2, 2005, 04:31 AM
Well lady c, since I am a seller od l-gluthathione then I would definitely say that it is best to get from me right :D hehehe

And yes dimples :) lots of celebrities has been using this japan PH 338 l-glutathion pills... it's a glutathione pills too, lots of celebrities has been taking them because it is what dr. calayan has been selling... and we know, dr. calayan is one of the top dermatologist in the country (Philippines) but is that its only 100mg of l-gluthathione and a normal weight person in order to get a whitening effect should tale around 2000mg to 3000mg depending to the person's weight... and double the dosage of vitamin C...

Lady C

Purchase them from you? No offence but I'm a little skeptical about that. Do u have your own business firm? Something I can buy via a service system?

unis
Sep 2, 2005, 04:51 AM
Sorry I am not that big time... as you can see even paypal doesn't have the philippines in the list of their countries... but I am using www.xoom.com, a paypal accredited way of paying items for philiipine sellers... :(

No, do have a website or link that I can look at these pills? I need to see them first and the ingredients are highly important...

unis

OK, ill try to take a pic of it later tonight or early tomorrow and add it to my site and maybe add a paypal button too if I will be able to request zoom one at once... ill list all the brands and their contents/ingredients...

So, what's the difference between japan glutathione & those USA made? I have tried GNC before but I was way too underdose( 6 tabs of their 50mg making it 300mg). Although I noticed nicer skin, it never made me whiter. Right now, I combined 2 glutathione pills to get to 3000mg glutathione/day & I think I have whitened more than a shade in my 15days(I forgot to take them for 2 days so that makes it 13days) with the high dose. How come these Japan made glutathione have become very popular these days?

unis
Sep 2, 2005, 05:09 AM
basically the PH338 became popular because people discovered that it was what dr. calayan has been selling...

there is no much difference actually about the gluthathione made from japan or USA, since gluthathione is gluthathione... they are just stressing it because on how it is prepared on these countries...

the 3000mg of gluthathione you are using should be taken in 3 divisions, what I mean is 1000mg 3 x a day, you should not take the 3000mg at once and you should take with it double dose of vitamin c to make it stay longer in your body to make your body make use of all the mg of gluthathione you take... anyway, anything in excess will be flush out in your urine since it is water soluble :)

Hey again

I found an information about what I tell about yeast

Azeleic acid is derived as a naturally occurring byproduct of metabolism of the yeast Pityrosporum ovale. Known for its use in acne therapy, dermatologists make use of its known side effect: skin lightening. Azeleic acid selectively works on overactive melanocytes, rather than affecting normally pigmented skin.

thank you which one is the best one to purchase and how affective is it on black skin (i'm a brown-light brown complexion)

The suggest the VITAMIN USA 885mg BUT since its glutathione is just 500mg I suggest that you get other brands too like Dr. James Glutathione that got 1000mg of glutathione to have your righ amount of dosage of glutathione to see results.

To know the right amount of glutathione you will need you have to know your body weight in Kg and you will be needing 20-40 mg of glutathione per kg you got and that would be your required glutathione intake and it should be taken in 2 or 3 divided dosage with the same mg up to twice of vitamin C. It should also be taken with Meal.

If your skin is medium brown, take it for at least one to three months. A person with dark brown skin will need glutathione for at least three to six months. Those with very dark skin should take it for six to 12 months. A person with dark skin may need L glutathione for at least two years or even more. Once a person has her desired skin color, the maintenance dose will just be 500mg once a day. This is to achieve the skin tone or color desired, though you may already see visible results in just 1 to 3 months of usage.

Beware! Not all glutathione out in the market are safe. What type of L Glutathione preparations must be AVOIDED? L glutathione preparations that are in combinations with the following:

Tyrostat ( L tyrosine)

Their oral format is still highly questioned by clinicians. This is used only for topical consumption and not to be taken orally. There were reports that even their hair turned white and painful feeling and firming of the breasts.

Goat/Sheep Placenta Extract:

Like that of Tyrostat, this is not recommended to be taken orally. The usual complaints of users are they get pimples and they get fat.

Vitamin A and E.

Of course there s nothing wring with these vitamins but you should consider that skin whitening pills will take you months and months of daily-dose regimen. These vitamins can lead to hypervitaminosis which is toxic to our body with prolonged use. These forms of vitamins are what we call fat-soluble vitamins (such as Vitamin A, D,E and K). Fat Soluble vitamins are metabolized and hydrolyzed in the liver. With prolonged use, fat soluble vitamins can be detrimental to one s health since an excess of these preparations will not just simply be excreted; they will just be stored in the liver. This is the reason why doctors advise their patients to rest their liver after at least a month of taking fat-soluble vitamins. Water-soluble vitamins such as Vitamin C and B-complex, when not used by the body, will just be excreted via urine, bile or feces.

The products the got the vitamin A and E in my list is OK to take but just for the first month only... of one bottle and shift to other brands...

BTW the Silk and Dove in the list got sheep placenta extract so I don't recommend it but it's there because of the above mentioned reason though it is considered as a dark spot remover that evens out skin color and smoothen skin.

Whew! Hope I got to say everything I wanted to say...

I think they only sell one product. Just buy the small size jar to try it out first. The ingredients are on their site if you click the products page and go to the link that says ingredients. They just came out with a new formula which people have been having good results with.

I would love to have your skin color... so sexy! Good skin doesn't depend on how fair you are. Good skin is soft, smooth, and supple. Americans are dying to get a tan for a sexier look. I'd say love your skin color. How about whipping up some bronzing cream for a sexier effect. Cheer up! :) :) :) ;)

One girl on the Yahoo group said Makari didn't really lighten her skin, but left some sort of film on her skin that made it appear light. It ended up making her undereyes look dark and raccoon like.

Jlo is like mariah, both are very pale in complexion for hispanic's they use tanners. Yes, white skin is more prone to cancer and aging as opposed to darker skin. That's why I'm only looking to be a shade or 2 shade darker then beyonce I don't want that pale look that most black people are after, I want a golden, light complexion.. I'm literally on it

God damn, I'm still waiting for whiterskin to come out with their body products. Ive emailed them at least 4 times about it and they keep saying it will be ready in 1 or 2 months. The face cream is great and all, but its way to small and expensive to apply on the entire body. Im just annoyed now because my face is about 3 shades lighter than the rest of my body. From the back without my shirt you can even see the contrast between the light skin on my neck and the dark skin on my back. My back and butt are the darkest parts of my body. I will definitely be needing something really strong for those. I might try the F&F body milk in the mean time.

Why would anyone want to lighten their skin? I have a porcelain complexion and I would love it if my skin were a few shades darker. I won't go tanning because of the sun and ultraviolet rays. I always thought having a bronze or a darker complexion was highly desired. You guys are lucky.

It pretty much depends on the culture. If people are naturally dark, they'd want to be lighter. If they're light, they'd want to be darker. It's basically human nature, you want something you don't have =)

Try using L'Oreal's whitening line. Day and night moisturizers and toner
