Date he called to chat. I did call him back to see how he was doing. We do have a lot in common. But I feel something is wrong. He tells me that he is not with her anymore.
But I feel otherwise. Only because he has not asked me anymore on a date/ Should I just forget him completely and go on with my life?

ALWAYS trust your gut instincts... if you feel you can't trust him, then you can't, and I would not pursue a relationship that I am not sure about from onset...

It seems like he is trying to have his cake and eat it too. If I were you I would lay low for a while and see what happens. I agree with Pook, if you feel like something is up then it probably is! Us women have GREAT gut predictors so use it to your advantage. There are other, better fish in the sea. If he was THAT into you he would have never given his ex another chance! Good luck!
