I recently posted about doing a HPT and getting a confusing result ( a negative line with half a positive line) but then I got my period right after I posted that. My periods are usually VERY painful and pretty heavy and last about 7 days. This time I got very mild cramps and it wasn't very heavy. I also feel like it is about to go away and it has only been a couple of days. Along with this, I am getting a lot of headaches and backaches that I normally do not get with my period but that I did get when I was last pregnant. Could anyone clear this up for me... could I be pregnant?

It sounds like a possibility to me, but with all of the quirks going on with you, it would be a better bet to just go see your doc :) But to me, it sounds like a possibility!

Yes, you are probably right! I'll test again tomorrow... with a digital... so we'll see!

Oh yeah digitals are awesome, at least you can get a clear answer! :)

Well I didn't bleed at all today so my "period" was officially 2 days long!

Wow, I wish I had periods like that.. haha. Honestly, you could have a small case of early pregnancy bleeding. Some people get that, some don't. I've known people, when they are supposed to get their period, still bleed, but its very light and lasts only a few days. Maybe this is what's happening to you! :)

Maybe... it was a fairly light period... I sure hope so anyway!

I hope so too for your sake! I love having children and they are so much fun! Although they are little pills every once in a while :) I'm crossing my fingers for you!

Thanks! The only thing that makes me doubt it a tinsy bit is that I had some very mild cramping right before I started to bleed... we will see in the morn though! :)

I had an early pregnancy bleed with my first pregnancy and it came with mild cramps too. I knew I was pregnant at this point, so I thought I was miscarrying, and went to the ER. The doctor actually laughed at me and said I just had a small bleed and it would get better. I hoping and praying for you though! :)

Well I took a HPT this morning and it came out "not pregnant" I have continued to have some dark brown spotting but I am still getting the headaches and backaches. I just don't feel convinced by the test... ahhhh... what to do?

You should go to the doctor and get a blood test. That's the only way to be sure if your urine isn't cooperating. :) HPT's can kind of suck sometimes.

Yeah that would probably be my best bet; I'll just feel silly if it is negative though :s

You shouldn't feel silly. With both of my pregnancies HPT's said negative when I actually was pregnant. :)

Really! I guess I will stop by my doc office tomorrow then, just in case. I wonder if my local health department would do a blood test? My doctor is about 1hr away... lol... I live in the boonies!

Hmm.. I would think they would do a blood test for you. It never hurts to ask! :)

Rank, my HPTs were never positive until 13 at least weeks.

Most health departments, at least here in Tennessee, don't do blood tests, they don't have the labs set up for them.

With all of the issues you have going on it is in your best interest to visit your doctor. You NEED to find out what is going on.

J_9 you are 100% right! I will get myself to the doc ASAP lol! I live in good ole TN too so I guess the health department option is totally out of the question!

I hope it is good news for you, but as I was reading, it sounded like your body just returning to normal. It has only been about a month since your miscarriage right? When I had mine last year, it took about 3 months for my body to return to normal (which happened to be exactly how long my doctor said to wait until trying again) we didn't start trying again until January of this year. But I was farther along than you, and mine was a result of an accident, so its not really apples to apples, I just thought I would throw that in there so you don't get frustratd... but I am really hoping that things go for the best for you. :) good luck Hun.
