I have a problem with hard start on my Honda Accord 1990.
When I crank it, it does not seem to catch a spark. Just when I depress gas pedal a little several times, it starts.
I changed all spark plugs, it starts very well. After 2 weeks, the same problem came back again.
Need help for finding the problem.
Thanks in advance.

. Check for codes.
. Read sections A and B below:

. I would replace the Ignition Control Module and coil inside the distributor. Here's how to do it:

If you prefer, AutoZone can test these components for free. While you have the distributor open, I would also replace the rotor.

You should not have to touch the gas pedal for your car to start, even in the coldest weather. If the steps above don't solve the problem, you may need to replace the distributor housing--CKP, CYL, and TDC sensors may be going.
