I am currently looking for administrative assistant or data entry positions. I already own a professional-looking suit for interviews and believe I am in need of another as I have several appointments over three days this week. However, my father is insisting that I do not necessarily need a business suit for interviews. He says that that is "in the past." In contrast, every website I looked at after doing a Google search said "dark blue, black or gray suit." He says these sites need to update. I looked at a good 5 or 6 sites. I was told by the people at the Career Center at Adelphi, where I graduated from that a business suit is the only acceptable attire, however, that was for education. Am I right that I need to wear a business suit on any interview?
