I own a '92 Geo storm. Like a dumbass I left the keys in the ignition. Someone that I know came by and took the keys out. He doesn't like me. I don't want to pay a locksmith $50 to change out the ignition lock, especially since I only paid $400 for the car. I'm sure that I can wire the power through switches, my only problem is that I don't know how to disable, or break the steering wheel lock without tearing up the steering collom. Any help would be appreciated.

There might be a key code stamped on the pass door lock cylinder. Ask a Geo shop on that one. Hot wiring is not a good idea. That 50 dollars might seam like a bargain for what you're about to screw up. That being said, a 92 model probably has a very worn ign key cyl and a similar key would most likely turn the ignition with a little jiggling.

Possibly cheaper to replace switch yourself. To do the switching most modern ignitions have many connections. The time you would spend bypassing may not be worth it.
Shop manual would be good investment, wiring diagram, and ignition removal.
Just looked at a couple of sites for your switch, about $140.00.
$50 may not be bad investment. Good Luck
