If life is just a dream then whose dream is it?

I won't answer the question concerning parallel universes so an alternate version of me can in another world.

If I am dreaming right now, and I wake up I won't be able to respond to your post.

If my entire life is a lie I am sure the truth will come out sooner or later. Usually does... I think... Unless that is a lie.

So you might be a figment of my imagination, eh? Are you sure I'm not a figment of yours?

Even if everything we experience is a falsehood, what does that change about ourselves? It is all we know, therefore it is our truth... to treat it as anything else is escapist at best, and disingenuous at worst.

What this implies is simply an existence without consequences, a trivial matter which can be treated as a plaything. Worse, it gives us license to treat others existence as playthings, which gives them the same right towards us. The mindset that everything here is temporary and without consequence leads to the mindset that anything can be done without guilt or conscience.

And that is a world in which I would not want to live.

Well then how did the world get started? The big "boom" how was that created? Maybe god built it? Maybe there is no God. All the little pieces of the world that have started and come to this could all be just a huge dream. If it was a dream, what would life be like when we awake?

What if the world is God's dream turned into reality? And what if that means we can turn our dreams into reality?

Then I think the world would be crazier then it is.
If our dreams could be reality our personality's would lack so much.

Well , this I know for sure, I do have a theophany body waiting for me in another dimension ;)

I don't think I believe in parallel universes but I heard about them and there kind of interesting I guess.

Maybe our planet is really a booger in a big green horned beast's nose and it is going to be ate at any moment. Did you ever consider that? I have and I'll tell you man I am really freaked out since I haven't mowed my yard in preparation for this coming cataclysim.
