Hello my name is Jessica and my husband and I are Trying to conceive. We have been trying for eight months now. Two months ago I went to a fetility clinic after being diagnosed with PCOS. I have been losing weight (YES!! ), exercising more regularly, drinking more water, and taking prenatal vitamins since my appointment. For the first time in my life I had TWO periods perfectly on a 28-day cycle. Third month is a duzie. I have kind of slacked off the normal stay healthy routine, been overly stressed (my hubby was out of town for business for a month WHILE I WAS MOVING US INTO OUR NEW HOUSE), and not gotten NEAR enough exercise. So when it was time for my period, nothing. Took a HPT, negative. Finally I started, HOORAY, or so I thought. Then the next day, nothing. Then I started again, then the next day nothing. WHAT IS GOING ON? I am taking clomid 50mg on days 5-9 per DR, but without a decent cycle can I still ovulate? If I ovulate will this no-cycle business cause a difficulty in getting pregnant or if I do get pregnant (please pray that I do) will this cause a problem in pregnancy? Dr is on vacation this week and don't want to bug her for this measly question, but should I? Oh, by the way I have still been having a slimy sticky kind of discharge in place of my period, no smell, no color, no itch or burn.

That discharge may be from ovulating, I get it quite bad. Not very nice but at least I know when I'm ovulating I suppose. Anyway - hold tight my friend just got pregnant on clomid after 6 months of trying - she has pcos too. Good Luck
