I cannot remember the name to a sci-fi movie that I used to like when I was younger. I know my son now will enjoy it. Please help me figure the titl out... I do not have to many details but it was about these little robots that were friendly. I think they were created out of spare household item parts. I think the old guy in the movie worked at a diner... this is all I can come up with my brother is giving me static telling me I am crazy, help me set him straight... thanks!

Little robots? Did they sort of suck energy out of the house sockets? Did they feed of it? Were they small and flying?
