I just picked up a use 22" Troy Bilt self propelled mower & wanted to know the following:

How old is it? Date of Mfg: RPAB

When you start it, I can't get the mower blade to dis-engage?

They thought it was a commercial grade mower, but I'm not able to tell anything about it.

Does anyone have any information?

Try Going To Mtd.com And Contact Them For Help, That Dom Code Doesn't Sound Correct. You May Also Look At The Engine For A Clue. If It Is A Briggs And Stratton , The First Two Numbers Of The Serial # Is The Year That The Engine Was Made. For Example : 0156674329542 , The Year Would Be 2001.
