My cat has this strange habit, every night she sleeps with me, which I don’t mind at all, but she lays so close to me and she always has to have her rear touching me. If I move, she comes closer again, some nights I wake up and she has almost all my side of the bed for herself and she still has her rear on me, so I see myself squeezed between my husband and the cat.
Does anyone know why she does that? Is it normal?

Maybe she is comfortable like that, cats have preferences too; or could be a protection thing with her. If it bothers you, don't have her in the bedroom.

I have owned a TON of cats, and I have found that their rear end is their security. Did you ever notice if you hold a kitten and don't support their rear 9 times out of 10 they will try to claw you? It's the same thing. Your cat feels secure when her rear is up against you :)
