Is it safe to go swimming in a chlorine pool right after getting a cartilage piercing (on your upper ear)?

Yea I guess its OK just make sure the water isn't dirty and make sure you clean it really good like right after so it don't get infected because if it does get infected its going to hurt alott!

Chlorine in pools causes the tissues around the piercing to dry up. It is NOT recommended to swim with a fresh piercing.

Also, bodies of water, whether they are pools, lakes or the ocean, have bacteria in them. The bacteria can cause problems such as infection, and if it gets infected bad enough you may have to remove the piercing all together.

Do not swim in any pool or body of water with a fresh piercing!
