I am an American Citizen living in Austin, Texas. I am planning to visit the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls on July 3 to 5, 2007 with my husband and my parents who are US legal residents, and with my nephew (13 years old) who is visiting us for vacations.

My question is:

Does my nephew need a visa to go to Canada?

I have a written permit issued by my nephew’s parents for him to travel, and hold temporary custody of him during his vacations in the USA as well.

My nephew has a valid visa of multiple entrances to visit the USA

Do your parents who are legal resident need a visa?
If so, then he needs it too.

You don't say what nationality your nephew is. Does he have a passport?

However, I don't think he would need a Visa as long as you vouch for him when entering Canada. I would however, try contacting the Canadian consulate or bureau of tourism to double check.

Thank you for your response. My nephew is from Colombia. It's extremely hard to contact the Canadian Consulate everywhere.
