I have tried before but no change comenced! :eek: what tone of light brown should I go for? My hair is dark brown. Should I just put tiny blonde highlights in it instead?

If you want to go from dark to light brown, you will need to pre-lighten you hair and the apply the desired color. Anything other than that will result in a red or orange shade. You can also get highlights, but too blonde highlights may look dramatic or unnatural on dark hair. For natural looking highlights, I recommend choosing a light brown or dark blonde color.
