You're a girl? I'm guessing. How active, are you a swimmer or in gymnastic because your body will burn calories up like crazy with those sports. Top female swimmers eat upward to 5 to 6 thousand calories a day but exercise 3 to 4 hours a day. To the point though, make sure you are eating enough!! Duh, calorie wise. At least 1300 a day to maintain your weight if you are indeed 106, if you want to gain some jump it up to 1500 for a couple of weeks and monitor, then jump up another 2 to 3 hundred calories and monitor again. See what happens. Make sure though that you are eating the right foods, chicken, fish, rice, oats... unless you want to add roles instead of some lean muscle. If you are indeed active, just keep with the same. But if you are competively active or lift weights than I would need to know what you do, when, and how much to further assist.

Foods like tuna, salmon, flax and walnuts are good for weight gaining, also don't use junk foods or greasy foods because they are high in transfats and saturated fats and this is not good for your heart for instance. Poultry, nuts, seeds and legumes, chickpeas, kidney beans, peanut butter and omelets are also good. Try whole grains like in cereals, rice, pasta, granola, bagels and cornbread . Eat more avocados, olives, potatoes, peas, corn, squash, or fruits like canned fruit in syrup, dried fruits and fruit nectar drinks. Use protein powders and nutritional supplements like Ensure. Take multiviatimins and minerals every day. Eat 5-6 meals a day, sounds like a lot of food but it's worth the effort. Use Milk instead of water in hot cereals, like oatmeal, soup or sauces, sprinkle powered milk on casserols, mealballs, meatloaf, masked potatoes, etc. Mix cooked chop meat, wheat germ, nuts, beans and/or cheese in casseroles, pasta and side dishes, And add 300-350 calories to your normal intake every day.
