I am confused about your post? Do you mean you "feel" like you have pins and needles poking your head? If so, I had this when I was younger and every now and then it happends. I think it is do to lack of blood to the head do to maybe laying on your neck wrong or something (you know how your hand goes asleep and it feels like this too). Not sure on this though; if this isn't what you meant post in more detail of what you mean.

Is it after sleeping, is it after quick movement from side to side, when? I can't help unless you describe your symptoms better.

I would also like to ask is there any medication your taken. Any kind of vitamins? This will also help in my answer to you.

nope I'm not taking any medication or vitamins or anything, the pins and needles just come and go. Also I have noticed that my hair is feeling a lot thinner. I spoke to my mum and my best friend about it and they both said it was because I hadn't had my hair cut for 2 years. Is that why it feels thin and not normal? Write back x x x

Well pins and needles would be circulation. That is my thought, but I am no doctor. As far as your hair, not sure.

For the pins and needle feeling going to the doctor would be best bet.

What is in your diet? What do you eat. This can have an effect on your hair. Are you getting enough of the vitamins and minerals you need. Do you think your lacking in anything.

I eat loads of fruit and veg so yer. Also for about two days now I have been getting headaches butnot really bad ones and my eyes have been hurting and I am always feeling tired no matter how much sleep I get. My mum thinks I need glasses as she has glasses. Could this be the case?

That could be the problem with the headaches and eyes hurting but I don't know about the feeling tired part. I think you should go to a doctor and see what he thinks.

Symptoms for headlice:

The most common symptom is itching of the scalp, caused when the louse bites through the skin to feed on blood. Another thing to be concerned about is hair loss. The lice themselves are essentially harmless, although excessive scratching may cause bleeding of the scalp, which may increase the risk of microbial infection. They suck one's blood and leave droppings in one's hair as well as eggs.

Seeing from these symptoms, I don't think it is lice at all.

Well Pins and Needles Pain Means there May be a problem with your nerves. The only cells that give off Pins and Needles Pain are Nerve Cells. Now I'm Only 15 But I'm Pretty Smart. I doubt there is a big problem. If you drink any energy drinks or vitamin drinks (not to be confused with sports drinks like gatorade and powerade) you should stop. You Should also See a Primary Care Physician. If your Primary Care Physician feels there might be something wrong he will give you a Referral to a Neurologist and he will run tests and find out what's wrong with you but I suggest you see a Doctor ASAP. Oh and if you feel Numbness that is a symptom as well. Also if you take vitamins You should stop.
