Okay besides pregnancy has anyone ever had bright fresh watery type blood right after sex? I don't want to think the worse, maybe its just rough sex?

I know you said it happens after sex, but the only time I have ever had watery consistency blood is when I had a UTI. Just throwing that possibility out there for you :)

It could be many things. Does this happen every time you have sex, or just certain times of the month, or only after rough sex?Is sex painful for you? Size wise, you could be disproportionate to each other.(for example, my sister had to have a surgery done before her wedding, to expand the lower part of the vagina, as the muscles were just too tight to be able to have sex without complications, and she also had very painful periods. ) It could just be that you need more lubrication. It could be many things. I would suggest speaking to your doctor about the possibilities.

It's been happening after sex for about a week. This has never happened to me before now and I've been sexually active for some years now. The sex is not any rougher than usual, it was actually pretty gentle this last time. Sex is not painful at all and we use adequate lubrication if not too much. It worries me and I don't yet have a gynecologist, (I just changed insurance since I moved to a new state). I'm hoping its nothing serious and I haven't had any other problems down below nor any fever, or anything weird.

Have you taken a pregnancy test? I know that it seems like a strange question but just humor me for a couple of posts.

I've taken 4 and they've all been negative. Pregnancy was my first thought since this has never happened to me before.

I recommend that you go to your dr and ask him for a blood test and possibly a pelvic exam. It could be several different things, too numerous to list. Only your dr can help clear this up at this point.

Okay I've made an appointment that I'll have to pay out of pocket for but its worth it this is my health we're talking about. But now I've got a different problem I'll talk to the doc about it but until then I'd appreciate some input from you guys. Yesterday I had some spotting or light bleeding but it wasn't like normal AF blood it was dark brown and mucousy (if that's a word) it was real light and completely stopped by this afternoon but after that I began to feel light headed and had cramping in the lower back (which I never get, not even around AF time) also experienced some twinges and soft cramps in the lower abdomen breasts are becoming increasingly sore and a little swollen. Nipples always erect. Anyone have any clue what could be going on? Am I losing it or what? BTW AF isn't due for another 10/11 days. I took a HPT on the 21st (thursday) and got a BFN. Thanks for the help.

New symptom: cramps have somewhat calmed down but now my abdomen is extremely tender to the touch. Especially right below my navel. Any thoughts??

It sounds to me like it could be an ectopic pregnancy. It could be other things as well, but the symptoms make me suspicious of an e.p. they typically do not show up on hpts, you often times have spotting a lot with it, and pain around the belly button area on one side of the stomach. Also, back pains and shoulder pain is a sign of it. When you go to your appointment(which hopefully is soon, as if it is an ecptopic pregnancy it can be dangerous and potentially life threatening if not taken care of promptly.) be sure to ask your doctor about this possibility. This has been such a confusing time for me. I don't think I'm pregnant at all anymore but I'm still confused about what's going on with my body. Today is cycle day 21 for me and I'm having some bleeding that looks like period blood but its way too early and I passed a couple of clots they were thick and jelly like (sorry if tmi). I'm just keeping track of everything that's going on so I can tell the doctor.

It could still be pregnancy. You could be having a missed miscarriage (when you miscarry before knowing you are pregnant). It looks like the last hpt you took was 10 days before your next expected AF. Most home pregnancy tests won't show up positive until up to 7-10 days late or more. The only time I've ever had bleeding from sex was while pregnant. There is much more blood flow to the cervix and it can become swollen. Any sex can easily cause a tear or abrasion. How soon is your doctor's appointment? I would try to get in early if possible. What color are the clots that you are passing? Greyish clots is definitely a sign of miscarriage.

The clots are the same red as the blood, I took the tests early because I thought I was pregnant before the period came. I'm going to wait until 1 day after af is supposed to arrive before testing again if she doesn't show up. A friend of mine (with 2 kids) told me that she had some light bleeding during her 2nd pregnancy in the early stages. Not implantation bleeding or a period but just bleeding sort of like a really light period but her baby was fine. So I guess she's made me hopeful but at the same time I don't want to get my hopes up and get burned in the end. And I couldn't get an appointment until two weeks from today I'm going to try to get an earlier date. Also the bleeding from earlier this morning has stopped as well it seems to have tapered off to just light brown discharge.
