Asset Acceptance placed a judgement against me for unpaid Bally's Membership. If I settle and pay with Asset Acceptance, will the judgement be removed? I am in Florida.

How long will the judgment be on my credit report? But, being paid will that help?
I wish I would have gotten a lawyer back when served papers by them. I may be settling the debt that is $2200.00 for $1000.00.

Has anyone dealt with Bally's? I have another debt collector (MCM)trying to collect on another Bally's Membership, which doesn't make sense. I may have to hire a lawyer for that one. How can I have 2 memeberships? Isn't that fraud somehow?

I will have to research and get back about the 2nd membership.

Thanks,

I believe it will stay but make sure it says on the credit report paid for less amount you may have to get ballys to send confirmation of that to you and send that to Credit Bureau also Its a lot better to show that the debt has been settled.

If you have a judgement against you but have no money to pay it, what happens
