Hello I'm phill! This is my situation! Last November I met a young lady called lisa at a college trip to the qft at queens and got along really well! I asked her out on the way home and she said"sure why not!" it was a kodak moment and I was delighted! She gave me her number then I gave her mine! The date was the following Friday a week later as she had to babysit that weekend we met! When we did go out I picked her up in a taxi and we went into town! We walked the wrong way to a restaurant which was my fault but eventually found one! We had dinner although both of us were full up early lol then we went to the cinema we spoke during the film about what this was leading to! Well I asked about giving it a go and she said that she wouldn't be here if she didn't want to! I was delighted! The choirs of angels were singing and confetti was falling from the ceiling in the cinema! We then had are first kiss which quite frankly was the most beautiful first kiss I had ever experienced! I said to her she smiled and ooked me in the eye with her gorgeous eyes and it got me tingly and emotional inside as if it were a dream come true! After the film we walked and I asked her if she wanted to go to a club or something she said yes! We went to the limelight ! We boogyed and I had a couple of diluted blackcurrants she had two drinks or so! We kissed again a lot of times and had fun! After getting the drinks, went round to the stage and dancefloor to see if my friends were there! They were and one of my good friends aine asked lisa was she my girlfriend and she said yes! I was delighted! Aine done a weird thing with her hands signalling a new couple in the group and we had a group hug! We then had a great time the reat of the night dancing and having, chatting about us and to my friends and stuff! It was a speial night with a special lady! I was in delerium! After we walked to the top of the town talking, holding hands, I was spinning her around as if we were dancing it was beautiful! We then got a taxi and I dropped her off home firs tor I got out first but paid for her taxi up home! I rang or text her immediately to see if she got home okay and she did! We spent quality time together that weekend and I met her family as I went up to her house to see her! It was a coincidence that her legendary mother was there and her niece! We had fun and chatted! I spoke to her mum then her dad came down! We had a laugh! It was one of the best weekends ever! After that we spent time together in and out of college! On christmas I went to her aunties party and had one of the best nights ever! Her aunty, her cousins are the best fun ever! We then went to a gig! A tribute band of her favourite band guns and roses who were called gunz and roses! A great night! She really enjoyed it and thanked me for the night then put her arm around my side! We walked and danced on way to get a taxi like we did on our first date! We then had more fun in college and outside of college! Then all of a sudden I was getting to see her a lot and if I did we weren't by ourselves! This continued for a couple of months and even on valentines day I babysitted with her and gave her my card and gift and gave her a kiss with her cousin beside her! I wanted to give in private as it was valentines day but I was okay mainly about it because I also knew it was her mums birthday the same day! I gave her mum a card and gift ion way up to meet her as I didn't get her mum a bottle of wine at christmas which I was told by my mum at the last minute was sort of traditional so I had to get her something! Plus lisa got my mum a bottle of wine at christmas too! I felt awful! Anyway so my 21st birthday when I thought we would be together ourselves she said could her cousin come then her other cousin came because she was meant to be staying with lisa! I was waiting on her outside the limeligght and my friend whose a bouncer said I might be getting stood up! I was hoping he was wriong! He was! She came eventually with them! She blew me away she looked so beautiful! The night wasn't that good because we did not dance together once or have at least two minutes alone together on the night before my 21st birthday which I was sad about! I felt as if she was embarrassed to be with me but when asked by a few of my great friends from childhood who were there if she was my girlfriend she said yes! I was happy! It was just that with one of her cousins joanne was single again and when she wasn't she never spoke to lisa then we met in the street! From a while after that I was playing second fiddle! She was always going to joannes aid as she's great to everybody but I wasn't getting to see her! I was just confused and I missed not being with lisa! Then we got time alone going to the cinema and it was great, I didn't care what we done as long as I was with her! We had a laugh too going there holding hands and stuffthen we got to see other little after with college and all and she was feeling homesick from missing o'meath where she spent a lot of her childhood plus college and she started a new job but there was always time for her cousin! When we got together she was the focus of my life and the first person I would make time for! She always said that family was first and I agree but surely not your cousins and stuff! Surely your boyfriend comes before them! Then when we were on the phone and it was a bit emotional talking she was saying that if I'm complaining now about not seeing her what would I be like if she moved back home to o'meath? So after that we seen each other the odd few times a week for a couple of minutes or seconds at a time because she had to go places! She was always busy! After a wee while then we spoke on the phone and she was saying that I phone up every couple of hours complaining about not seeing which is not true! I ring her and see how she is and what she's at then ask if she wanted to meet up! I told her how I felt she felt similar and would have liked to have seen far more of each other when I asked her it before! Then after talking for another while she said about that what's going on is why we shouldn't be together and I was saying don't say that not. She said maybe if we take a break for a few weeks and she how things go then see what happens then if its okay to get back together or not! Then she said about after the summer or something then wecame to a decision were we would take a break for a while for personal reasons on her behalf which was okay with me! So I said so when this conversation ends the conclusion is that we are on a break for a few weeks! She said yes! I said was it okay and stuff for me to ring her every so often to see how is and stuff? She said that was okay for me to text or ring her! Since then which was April we have spoken twice on the phone for one to two minutes maximum because she had to go and cook dinner as her mum was on holiday lol which was not a good sign, only joking! We seen each other once or twice in college and I held the door open for her! Her reaction was weird but of thank you and said I your welcome! Now just recently my friend from college said how's the woman? I said we were on a break and he said that he heard she was seeing someone else! My heart started racing and my anxiouty level rose! I said who told you who is then, when you find that out? He said he heard it from a few of my class mates and a few of her class knew! I kept trying to get the information out of him, he said and for me to ring her! I did, she wasn't in! She was up at her cousins! Plus her mobile wasn't working properly so I couldn't get through! I tried to ask him again then he said I was doing his head in, and he went offline right away! Then my friend william said to me sorry about you and the ex man! I was like what are you on about? We are on a break still and he said oh right! I asked who told you and he said pete then today william asked about my msn pic and who was in it? I said me, lisa and her cousin! He said am I still seeing her? I said well we are on the break still but the pic was taken in February! He said oh right! Will said that pete said he seen her with another guy and I said who! Will didn't know he never told him! So I asked will would he ask pete for and he said yes to find out who because I know he would not tell me if I asked because pete gets annoyed when you ask him a certain amount of times or certain things! William agreed and is going to ask him! We are hopefully meeting for lunch tomorrow but he is hopefully going to ask pete when I'm not there! I will go to the toilet or something! LoL, kind of an incoherent mess but I got the general picture.

Ill make this short. Its time to face your demons buddy. Looks like she's gone, maybe gone for good. She probably is seeing someone else and maybe you were just a rebound. You were obviously more invested in the relationship than she was.

Its time to concentrate on you, no one else. It didn't last long, just think of all the people who've been together for 50 years and divorced? Their whole lives ripped apart. You must concentrate on what you want from life? What are your aims? Write down a list of short term and long term goals and work on them. Join the gym, trust me this helps a great deal. Ive been doing sport + gym since the age of 8 I am 21 now. Gives you a great natural 'high' and you feel great and look great.

Abide by no contact and don't go near the grape vine as you'll only end up getting hurt. Ignorance is bliss! Don't ask people what she's doing. Be fun happy and bubbly, spend time with your friends, go out and party, flirt with other girls, join some new clubs, plan trips away. DO ANYTHING BUT DON'T MOPE ABOUT. Choose your life, don't waste another second!
