I need to know if terminating parental rights are granted to non-custodial parent by law what are the responsibility after so. Has there been any new legislation in Texas for the parents who give up rights .

Are you asking if, when you terminate parental rights, you have any responsibility towards your child?

Parental rights are just that--rights. The right to decide on schooling, religion--the rights to have a say in the child's upbringing.

Parental obligations, however, do not end until someone else adopts that child. So... if you terminate your parental rights, you will STILL have to pay child support.

How do you get a non custodial parent to give up their rights
