Hi,I was given birth to in portugal,in 1981 but my father took me away while having misunderstanding with my mum,due to family problem,am in the uk at present and want to know how I can find my mum to know my real background and who I really am.

In my country, I would go to the Ministry of home affairs and they will arrange a passport. For the visa I am not 100% sure about procedure but If you ask the officials at your Ministry I'm sure they will give you all the details...
