Model 110. 20072 991. We have a Kenmore that died this past Saturday. It started by just stopping on the spin cycle, but not the water won't drain either. I read on the site that something could be stuck in between the tub and drum. Not sure I am not techinally inclined when it comes to washers. Is there a way my husband and I can take a look at it before we call a repair man to the house? Any ideas would be great. We do hear the motor click when we try and do a spin cycle... but nothing happens. Help!

Thanks.

You could have a bad safety/door switch.it mates up to the door when you close it.see if you can hear it click when you press down on it.even if it does click it could still be bad.you can bvpass the switch by rewiring around it.if the switch is not your problem it could be a bad belt on the bottom.if your washer doesn't have a belt(which some dont)it has a clutch gear that mates between the motor and gearbox.it is made of plastic and has four prongs on it.they break off sometimes.you will have to take the motor off from the gearbox(not hard to do,just a few bolts)and you will see it.it pulls ridht out.you will see if its broke or not.they cost around 10 or 15 bucks.hope this helps you.
