Hello, selling my house and the "home inspector" suggested to the buyers that the ejector pit should be sealed, mine handles only laundry water and wash tub and is a standard type sump pit with a plastic lift of lid that has a slot half way through for the pipes. What would be the proper way, and or easy way of sealing that pit?

Thanks in advance, jeff

I should think that sealing up the slot would satisfy the inspector but if it doesn't click on;Backup Sump Pumps & Accessories Shipped Nationwide - Complete Basement Waterproofing Services for Chicagoland! (http://www.floodnot.com/electric-sump-pumps.htm)
And scroll down to pit covers and find pit covers from 18" to 36".
Good luck, Tom
