Windows 98. I know its old and probably dated but its all I can do now. Problem is it freezes often and runs too slow. Anything I can do to help it along. Keep it simple as I only know basics

Oh, geez, I don't remember windows 98, let's see...
Can you click on start, then All Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools? That should give you an option for Disc Defrag.

Ar you running an antivirus? If so which one and is it updated? Be sure you are running Lavasoft (which removes Adware), SpybotSearchandDestroy, also go to Cwshredder. (http://us.trendmicro.com/us/products/personal/CWShredder/)
Also use CCleaner (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/) if you don't have it. Run it, use it.
After each process, reboot and run the next one.
Sorry Ben, apparently I geeked out tonight!!
