This is my first time violating probation. My question is will they take me in and lock me up when I see my probation officer ?Or will they wait until they find out what the outcome of my new charges are to violate my probation?

More than likely you will not be arrested at your PO appt.. But when your PO finds out they can contact the judge and police to get you arrested.. You will probably spend a couple days in jail until you have your VOP hearing.. VOP's can nnot get bonded out of jail.. Good Luck

I was in the same issue as you. What happened is I contacted my Probation officer as soon as I could. He gave me a couple of days to turn myself to get things together on my part. I had to do 35 days in jail until the judge has a docket date set for me. Then after my jail time I to appear before two judges one for my new case and old case. Depending on the severity of your offense you can either get house arrest which is not that bad as it seems or get ISP intense supervised probation which that sucks because they give you a GPS device and see where you are at all times. If you need further information just let me know.
