A friend of mine is considering ta tattoo the image of a son who has a terminal disease.
Is that a sin? Or is it something she will probably regret any time in her life?
Thank you.

This is a very personal decision. I am so sorry she is having to go through this with her son. It is terrible to lose a child.
I do know a man that has his 2 children tattooed on his chest, right above his heart. He has not regretted it for a moment.
Again, this is a very personal decision. What may be right for her may not be right for someone else. What may be considered a sin for one person may not be considered a sin for another.
This may give her peace that her son will be with her forever.

People deal with things in different ways. Personally, I think it's a beautiful idea. It's a way for her to always have her little boy with her at all times, even after he's gone (I hate saying stuff like that). :(

I agree it seems a very beautiful idea ! Here is some stuff I found looking around on Google etc and some church site's I use from time to time.
Some christian tattooers claim that when the Lord Jesus Christ returns in Revelation chapter 19 on a horse – He has a tattoo on his thigh!
Revelation 19:11-16 says:
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
I wish your friend and her son well.

I think that everybody deals with suffering and loss in many different ways.
I think if this person feels this is the best way to deal with her loss then I believe it is right for her.
Very beautiful and touching idea and there is nothing wrong with it in my own opinion.
