I know this is a weird question but I know everyone on here will try to help and not make me feel stupid, so here goes can anyone tell me if it is possale for me to measure my belly myself to see how big it is measuring.
The reason why I ask is because I don't have a doctors appt till July 27, 2007 and by then I will be 11 or 12 weeks I think and I can't wait that long to see if I am measuring big
See I am only 5 weeks but my pants are already very tight on me and for the past couple of days I feel like I can't get full and I have a very strong feeling it could be twins.
Weird mabey but the feeling is very strong.
With my first and second pregnancy I didn't start eating like this till I was in my second trimester and I never had the feeling they were twins I did however know their sex right from the start and my feelings turned out right.
So is it possible that the feelings could be true that it is twins?

No, its not a dumb question. We all want to know what our measurements are etc when preggy and its so hard to have to wait until the next appointment, esp if you think it might be twins. Since your intuition has been right on so far, it is possible it is this time too. However, since every pregnancy is different, and this is your third pregnancy, its normal that you would be experiencing things much earlier. With each progressive pregnancy, its normal to experience things earlier on and with more intensity. Also since this is your third child, its normal that your pants would be getting tighter sooner, as your muscles are have been so stretched out with previous pregnancies and its easier for them to stretch out each time. I started showing earlier with my second pregnancy, had a lot more of an appetite, etc. but with each pregnancy and year that passes your chances of twins get higher, esp if they run in the family. It would be hard to measure yourself at this point esp. you'd have to be able to feel for the top of the fundus, and know what you were feeling and know how high up it was suppose to be, etc. you could just be having a big baby too. (they thought my first son was twins, but he was just big)
