Sorry... I don't even know if this is the right area to ask this, but... is it possible to convert a midi music file into an mp3 file? I'm trying to add some background music/sound bytes to my son's website (specific to different picture galleries), the only free downloads that I'm finding are in midi format, and the website requires mp3. Any suggetions?:confused:

The simple way is to connect a microphone to the mic input of your PC. Run Windows built-in sound recorder. Place the mic. Near the speakers, and play the MIDI file.

Windows sound recorder, records as .wav file, so now you need to look for a freeware audio converter/encoder for wave to mp3.

You can also try to look for a freeware midi to mp3 converter.

Download the free dbpower amp it has a midi to mp3 converter in it. If you like the program then buy it. I think it has a 30 free trial.
I used it and it works.
