My civic won't start and I'm getting a majority of votes on bad starter. Here's a little video of what it sounds like when I try to start it.
YouTube - my car broke (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApQ5ztfq5YQ)
Can anybody give me a detailed instruction on how to replace the starter, or the starter solenoid? Please note that I'm car illiterate so you may need to explain where things are.
Thank you!

Your "YouTube" posting is a first for "Car & Trucks." Thanks. It sounds like your starter solenoid (relay) is clicking. Therefore, I would:
. Remove the battery, disconnecting the negative battery cable first, and put it on a charger. If the noise is from the starter solenoid clicking, then you may only have a bad battery. Always start by making sure your battery is OK. I'm inclined to think this could be your problem because your Civic is so new. When you replace the battery, attach the negative battery cable last. Before replacing the starter motor, read this:

. Check all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter. Here's how:

. Check for diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) with a scan tool.
. Check for spark.
. Check for fuel.
Reading sections A and B might help:

If you still think the starter needs replacing, here's how:
