I am 19 years old, and I want to open a safe house for children. Where abused and raped children could find protection from their parents.I need to help them so much I just don't know where to begin.Is there any way state will corporate with me?? Please help.

You probably will need to be licensed through your state department of human services. There are many divisions in that overall department. Try contacting a representative in Child Protective Services. You could call a shelter - homeless shelter or women's abuse shelter and tell them of your desires and ask how you would go about doing this? Some people do have safe homes they set up and it is not related to the state. But you need to do some homework where you live and find out all the rules and legalities of this.

You want to provde a loving and caring and safe environment for children who have gotten nothing but a hard time. That is wonderful. I really hope you succeed.

Wow... I don't have an answer but that sounds great... I too would love to do something like that for children homeless, abused whatever the case but wouldn't even know where to start... like would you have to go to school for something like that or what... I'll defenatly keep my eye on this post to see what kind of answers you receive...
